When life was just a party of two, me and my wife, traveling was a much easier endeavor. Now that my son is in the picture, with a possibility of few more on the way, a simple vacation would quite frankly bankrupt us into oblivion. So what is a typical Asian American Family to do?
Well an option that we have been toying around was to plan more camping trips. This way we still have the illusion of getting away from it all at a third of the cost. The only caveat to this idea is that I hate camping. Camping feels like a regression into my college years. A period in my life where peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and ramen were the staple of my daily diet. I'm a grown man now, and feel as if I've earned enough points in life to at least have a mattress to sleep on during trips away.
