Crossing Over to Idaho

Twin Falls Idaho

We cruise through endless miles of wildflower, even stopping to get a few photo ops. Idaho welcomes us with open arms. The state has a population of 1.7 million people with an area of over 83,000 square miles making it the 14th largest state in America.

Idaho was an Oregon and Washington Territory until it eventually became admitted into the Union on July 3, 1890 as the 43rd state. Although there is a diverse economy, it is best known for its potato crops, which comprises of 1/3rd of the nation’s yield.

We rest our weary bodies at Twin Falls. The first of several waterfalls we have the pleasure of exploring. Located at the Edge of Twin Falls, Shoshone Falls is a natural beauty on Snake River. At 212 feet, it is taller than Niagra, and offers a blend of recreation, playgrounds, hiking trails and more.
