Toast Kitchen & Bar in Brea

In Today’s Kim’s Adventure, we are having Brunch at Toast Kitchen and Bar in Brea California. It was established in 2016 by the founders of Toast Whittier and the Benediction. Interesting fact is that they used to be called ‘The Dylan’ but has since been renamed Toast Kitchen and Bar. They serve farm to table breakfast-focused New American Style Cuisines along with various wine and spirits. There’s salads, entrees, burgers and sandwiches to choose from. Breakfast options hover around the $17 price point, but the steak and eggs will set you back $30 buckaroos.

Upon entering, the dining area felt very open and bright with high ceilings and plenty of white paint on the walls. We got the Steak Breakfast Burrito which was huge and packed with a lot of potatoes. It also came with a side of delicious hash brown chips. I felt like this was a good choice, but upon looking on their websites, I don’t see it on the menu anymore. They also serve a plethora of eggs benedict, so I’m guessing that’s their specialty.

Maybe on a date night with the wifey we’ll stop by again. I also heard you could get booze with your breakfast, seems kind of early to get wasted though. And I just scrolled through their Instagram account, and I instantly got hungry. The presentation on all their meals looks fantastic. So, if you’re in the Brea area and don’t mind spending a bit of cash, come drop by Toast Kitchen and Bar and give them a try.
