Death Valley Devil’s Golf Course

Devil's Golf Course

The Death Valley Devil’s Golf Course is a short stop on the drive between bad water and furnace creek. An Immense area of rock salt, eroded by wind and rain into jagged spires, a 1930’s guidebook wrote that only the devil could play golf on such a surface. And if you listen carefully, you will hear pings and pops as the salt crystals expand and contract in the heat. But be careful when walking as you may get cut if you fall on the jagged spires. The sharp jagged rocks went as far as the eye could see, it was truly surreal.
